As Misurata positions itself as a new energy services hub, Africa Energy Pulse partners with IN-VR to bring the story to African audiences.

Africa Energy Pulse has joined the Misurata Energy & Business Summit as an Official Media Partner, with the two-day event scheduled to take place on 16–17 November 2026 at the Misurata Free Zone in Libya.
The Summit is organised by IN-VR, a London based consultancy that runs energy and investment initiatives connecting governments with private sectors and co-hosted by the Misurata Free Zone. It will gather stakeholders across energy, maritime, logistics and investment to discuss Libya's energy sector, infrastructure and the opportunities building around Misurata.
Manel Bouizegarene, Marketing Manager at IN-VR, the organiser of the Summit, said Africa Energy Pulse’s coverage would help bring the opportunities emerging from Misurata to a wider African audience.
“The timing could hardly be more significant. Libya holds Africa’s largest proven oil reserves, with Misurata at the heart of this transformation, positioning itself as Libya’s next energy services hub and a gateway between African, Mediterranean and Middle Eastern markets.”
She said working with Africa Energy Pulse would help extend the reach of the summit beyond the event itself.
“For IN-VR, the partnership with Africa Energy Pulse is a natural extension of its mission: connecting governments and international companies across the energy spectrum, and ensuring that the opportunities emerging from Libya reach the audiences best placed to act on them.”
Bouizegarene added that IN-VR, which has a decade of experience promoting energy markets across MENA, Latin America and the Balkans, sees pan-African media reach as an important part of the summit’s ambition.
“Through Africa Energy Pulse’s coverage, the conversations, agreements and investments launched in Misurata will resonate across the continent’s energy community,” she said.
Daniel Oladoja, co-founder of Africa Energy Pulse, said the deal would put a sharper spotlight on the energy, investment and business opportunities developing in Libya, and their relevance for African markets.
"Misurata is the right place for this conversation. Libya's energy sector occupies a crossroads few other markets can claim, and what happens with Misurata's development could ripple well past Libya's own borders.
This partnership opens that conversation up to audiences across the continent, and lets us dig into what the business, investment and energy opportunities here mean for Africa. We are glad to be working with IN-VR and are looking forward to giving our readers a closer look at the people and ideas driving the next stage of Libya's energy story."

The partnership builds on Africa Energy Pulse’s expanding role in covering major energy industry developments and adds to the publication’s coverage of power, oil and gas, renewables, policy, governance and climate across the continent, with a focus on the people, initiatives and investments advancing Africa’s energy future.
