Africa Energy Pulse Joins African Energy Week 2026 as Media Partner

Africa Energy Pulse has been confirmed as a media partner of African Energy Week (AEW) 2026, the leading annual conference and exhibition that brings together energy leaders, investors, and policymakers from across the continent. AEW takes place in Cape Town from 12 to 16 October 2026.

The conference is organised by the African Energy Chamber and held at the Cape Town International Convention Centre, running across five content stages and two technical hubs over the five-day programme. AEW positions itself as the continent's only conference covering the full energy sector on an international stage, spanning oil, gas, power, renewables, critical minerals, and infrastructure.

This year's confirmed participants include senior executives from Oando, Seplat Energy, SLB, TotalEnergies, Standard Chartered, and Scotiabank, alongside representatives from the World Bank, the United States International Development Finance Corporation (DFC), and several African national oil companies. A newly added US-Africa Energy and Investment Forum will examine commercial partnerships between American and African firms, following a recent increase in the DFC's investment capacity from $60 billion to $205 billion.

AEW is built around African-led dialogue on energy investment and development, with this year's programme covering financing, upstream exploration, downstream infrastructure, and grid expansion across several dedicated forums.
